Ingo de Buhr
Dipl.-Ing. Ingo de Buhr, born in 1966, is technical managing director and shareholder of N.prior energy GmbH. Since 1993, he has been engaged in the planning of energy projects, particularly of biomass combined heat and power (CHP) plants and wind farms. With PROKON Nord Energiesysteme GmbH, founded in 1997, Ingo de Buhr has implemented projects with a total investment exceeding 600 million EUR. In 1998, Ingo de Buhr began planning the first offshore wind farm „Borkum West“. This was the first offshore wind farm in Germany that was approved (on 9th November 2001) and successfully commissioned in the end of 2009. Already in 2002, the construction work of the first biomass CHP plant planned by N.prior energy began, which is located in Papenburg. Already in 2003, it was put into service and has been operating with high reliability since then.
