Biomass combined heat and power (CPH) station Emlichheim

The biomass CHP station PN Biomasseheizkraftwerk Emlichheim GmbH & Co. KG (Lower Saxony) is a 100 % subsidiary of N.prior energy. This station produces 20 MW_el throughout the year. It has a thermal capacity of 70 MW and an electric capacity of 160 gigawatt hours p.a. The process heat is supplied to the starch production company Emslandstärke.

Steam power plant Weener

N.prior energy GmbH has a 25 % share in the company Weener Energie GmbH & Co. KG (Lower Saxony). Operational management is conducted by N.prior energy. Approx. 120,000-140,000 tons of refuse derived fuels (RDF) are utilized resulting from the mechanical-biological processing of municipal and commercial waste per year.

PN Casting Technology GmbH

PN Casting Technology GmbH in Stade is a 100 % subsidiary of N.prior energy GmbH. It produces large cast parts for offshore wind energy converters and is thus part of the supply chain for the erection of offshore wind farms.

PN Offshore Installations-GmbH

PN Offshore Installations-GmbH in Leer, owned by N.prior energy, develops concepts for the erection of offshore wind energy converters. This comprises e.g. the planning of a jack-up barge.

PN Bioethanol Elbewerk GmbH & Co KG

The modern bioethanol plant in Stade processes approx. 270,000 tons of wheat per year based on a re-combination of processes used in the food and chemical industry. 300,000 litres of bioethanol (99.9 %) are produced per day; the annual capacity is up to 43 % compared with conventional methods.

PN Upstalsboom GmbH & Co. KG

This company is a 100 % subsidiary of N.prior energy GmbH and realizes the implementation of a jack-up platform. The company has a cooperation agreement with a large internationally operating construction group and is responsible for the provision of the jack-up barge, its engineering and approval procedure.

OWT Offshore Windtechnologie GmbH

This company is responsible for the implementation of all works for offshore constructions, especially focusing on the development of foundation structures for offshore wind energy converters. Static and fatigue analyses, dynamic calculations and FEM studies ensure certifiable designs.

Service company for geo-information technologies. Their customers include public administrations, private-sector companies, non-profit organizations and educational institutions.
